It is going to be very hard to convince these people to listen to our side, especially when they continue to interview these "experts" on safety. They are so absolutely blinded with the anti-gun doctrine that they can not think for themselves. If they would only look at all these cases and think about it...by the time the police arrived, everyone was dead. Do they really think the psychopath is going to pick the room with the cop in it? They may be the scum of the world, but they are not stupid...that is more that you can say for the anti-gun-free-zones proponents.

I'm responding to crossfire, longtooth, bunkins and bryang. Yes, I explained to my wife all the bad things that could happen at any moment.Every time we go out I point out to her the possibilities of being assaulted when coming out of any store. I tell her, "see that women loading her groceries, and that one talking on cell phone, well ,they have no idea of their surroundings. They are easy targets.Who is protecting them? Look at the security guarding the parking lot. He's too far away and besides, he's unarmed, he only carries a walkie-talkie, by the time police arrive something really bad may happen." She still seems to disagree, however, without really admitting it out clearly, I think she's gotten the point, cause when we go out she asks me if I'm carrying and when I say yes, she shows a sigh of relief. I think it's just her fear of firearms. Can't make her go with me to the shooting range. There's been about 3 incidents in last month or two, where CHL holders have had to use deadly force in defense of their lives resulting in the death of the bad guys who were armed. News broadcast reported in each incident that the targeted victims had acted in self defense and would not be charged. Those were real eye openers for my wife. She agreed that I buy a new pistol. Happily ever after.(Guys, sorry I can't reply with" Quotes"or "smilies ". I'm just learning to use a PC. Typing with one finger, don't know much yet.) Bye.

State law already permits them to carry them in The Quad.
I jog through there packing heat at least twice a week. :thumbs2:

I can see why you're confused, "The Quad" is the middle ground between many of the buildings on Texas State's campus. Usually filled with students during the school day as they go from one class to the next or kill time between classes. Many organizations set up little booths in there to get their message out.

The stairs in the second pic ar the easy ones... :smilelol5:
