Border Violence

#1

Post by Commander »

Violence just across the Rio Grande continues to increase putting law enforcement on alert. I've heard reports that US Citizens along the border are stocking up with guns and ammo for a potential collapse of the Mexican government and the wave of refugees seeking to escape the violence. Mexico is currently rated the second most likely county to collapse in the world; Number one is Pakistan. If Mexico does collapse, the consequences for the US are dire. We are simply not equipped to stop the sea of humanity that would try to flee the drug lords violence; nor can we feed and house that many people once they get across the border. Let's hope that this scenario does not play out.

I thought everyone was stocking up because Obama wants to take our guns away, and the current financial collapse and inevitable the social unrest sure to follow , and oh Yeah the Katrina refugees.

There are a number of reason folk are stocking up on firearms. ammo, reloading supplies. Ranging anywhere from they are fun to what your describing.

The border violence is more accute down here in South Texas than say, Detroit. BUT it shud be a concern for all. If Mexico does collapse, the citizens of Mexico witl stream out of the area like they do to avoid the fighting in any other war.

I have a number of Hispanic friends and they are just as concerned about what is going on, for many of the same reasons as I.

It very well may happen.

To stop it, I suspect that a major turn around of thinking here in the U.S. is gonna have to happen and that is the total end of drug use.

Figger the odds
