I called Sen. Shapiro today but was only able to reach an aide. I expressed my support for the bill, and he logged my call but could not give me any info about the Senator's position.
I called my senator's office when you posted this. They called me back yesterday, and I had quite a nice conversation with her representative, who indicated that my senator (Jane Nelson) would be supporting the bill.
