I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

The Denny's at 610 and East T.C. Jester (in Houston) was packed this morning at 6:30. I thought I might get in on the deal, but couldn't find an open parking spot. I hate missing out on free food... :grumble

I was going to drop by for lunch. Got there, and a line of about 60 people was outside the door, plus whatever was inside. A free lunch would have been nice, but not worth standing there in line with every other mooch. I had work to do anyway.

At noon time I went to the Dennys in Baytown near N. Main and Garth. There was a bit of a line and we were asked to sign up for seating. As I gave the lady my name, she said I coujld be seated at the bar. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Yummm .. a $1.79 for coffee and I left the change for a $5.00 as a tip. Great experiance. Dennys pancakes are great. Left full, contented and with a smile.

Went yesterday and actually got a table under 20min. Was it worth the free $5 meal? Prob not, but met a few nice people so it was nice in the end.
