I transferred 3 times (4 guns) with him. Pretty good guy-- twice we transferred at his house, and once at the Starbucks-- reasonable fees, and he gives a discount for NRA and CHL..

I would recommend him--

How did this get out of the FFL section?

http://www.bigdaddysguns.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I heard about him in August of 2007 from someone on GlockTalk I believe. Having never used him I can't speak to his prices, but at that point I was told he did transfers for $15, -5 for NRA members AND -5 for CHL = $5!

Again, I'm not sure that it's true currently, or ever was, but that's what stuck out to me when I came across it originally.

I was gonna ask, I thought I saw something about him doing CHL xfers for 10 bucks... damn decent fellow who puts his money where his principals are if he gives such steep discounts to NRA and CHL. He's bookmarked.

Back the first of October, I transferred a XD from Bud's through Lewisville Pawn for $10. OTOH, I was in a gun shop in Birmingham over Christmas and these "Roll Tiders" charge $50 for a transfer.

There are folks out there who do not believe their FFL is a license to steal. You just gotta' find 'em.

Great to know! You may want to post info in the FFL section, if you haven't already.

I have sold a few rifles on gunbroker the past couple months. I am blown away by what some of these fellers from other states are paying to get an FFL transfer. We seem to have the cheapest FFL transfer fees in the country. 40-50 bucks has become a common number I am hearing in other states.
