Like I said, every single person in that report needs to be identified and their involvment made public...Extremely public...

It has been released that the candidate #5 who was going to be able to pony up $500K on the spot, possibly more to follow is Jesse Jackson Jr.

The question I have if that is part of the transcript of the wiretaps, does that put him in a position to be indicted as well??? Seems to me if you are able to pay money, or atleast offer a number to someone who can appoint you to a political position like this you should be under equal judicial scrutiny...Even though no money had physically changed hands (at this point)...

He isn't going to risk tarnishing his first year in office for this guy. The feds have so much on the gov there is little chance he'll get any leniency. I just wonder who will appoint the senate seat now?
Last I heard, the IL Legislature was trying to gather a veto proof majority vote on the creation of a special election for the seat.

Jesse Jackson, Jr was #5 on the list for the seat and had agreed to donate money to the Governor's campaign fund.

I heard a quote from him on WBAP this morning: "If a skinny kid with a funny name could become President, then I thought a short kid with a controversial name could become Senator."

Normally I wouldn't care what happens to some corrupt politician in Chicago. But Osama - I mean Obama - came from the very same rotten to the core Crook County political machine as this scumbag. That is very important. Grab some popcorn and be sure to watch the show.

Are they going to name one of the white house bedrooms "The Capone Suite"?

Gun control is not about guns. It's not about crime. It's about control.

Actually a FOID is not a license per se, but his not having one means that he cannot possess any firearms in IL, and it makes me wonder if anybody has checked to see if he got rid of them.
