And the larger the total membership base, even if new members enroll with little coin up front, the larger the number will be of members retained, renewed, and upgraded, as well as more potential, future donations to NRA-ILA and the NRA Foundation. Unlike some anti-gun groups that get funding whenever they want it from a very few, distinct channels (can you spell "Soros"?), the NRA relies on a large base of many members who each contribute a little.Mike1951 wrote:Sure, the NRA needs funds, but it is the clout of a larger membership that will cause wrong-minded politicians to reconsider their stance.
Not that I know of.boomerang wrote:I'm up for renewal soon. I get the American Rifleman but it's rare I see anything I want to read. I thought the NRA had a concealed carry magazine but I don't see it now. Is that still an option?
With more than one million readers, NRA's flagship magazine, AMERICAN RIFLEMAN, is the largest circulation firearms magazine in the world. Featuring stories of interest to gun enthusiasts of every kind -- from competitive shooters and hunters to reloaders and gun collectors -- the monthly magazine also delivers impartial reviews of rifles, shotguns, handguns and shooting equipment, technical analysis and expert advice, state and federal legislative updates, and regional reports on local events and facilities.
NRA's magazine for outdoors men and women, AMERICAN HUNTER is the most popular -- and largest circulation -- all-hunting magazine in the world, with nearly one million readers. Offering expertise on how and where to hunt all types of North American game, the magazine encourages readers to take advantage of the rich opportunities most Americans take for granted and to pass along the tradition to the next generation. Reviews of hunting equipment and services, as well as coverage of legislative and political developments of interest to hunters, are highlights in each issue.
NRA's first pure news magazine, AMERICA'S FIRST FREEDOM, delivers timely, hard-hitting journalism that tells the truth about the threats to our Second Amendment rights. It features an editorial profile that clearly defines the issues surrounding the one belief that insures all our freedoms -- the Second Amendment.
Basically, Yes. Get her a membership now, she will be 19 before the next full national election.mr.72 wrote: Really? So if I buy my 15 year old daughter an associate membership to the NRA, then that results in another vote for some politician? .
