Stopped for Wheelie

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

thats how it is here in DFW too ... kinda strange its safer to do 80-90 on the highway than it is to follow traffic lol

I guess it would be cheating for me to answer Kevin's question, since I have used it as a quiz question for arrest classes. It goes along with the question about the only offense you must arrest for (and there is only one).

And I guess it would also be cheating for me to tell you I went right past a state trooper on IH-10 doing about 128. He had just pulled the stop stick back in since the guy we were chasing had managed to miss them. One of the best benefits of my job is that I get paid for driving that fast on some highways.

I worked at a car wash for a while in SA, and one LEO told me that just speeding is the only offense they CAN'T arrest me for. :headscratch

I'm curious to hear what the answers to the quiz are.

unless its over 100mph... Bust chances are if you are speeding that will find something else to get you for.

The 'open container' law, from what I have see, does not discriminate between the type or mode of transport.
