........is just too long to wait for a holster. I wanted a VMII because of the tuckable feature. I am now using a Summer special that I've had since '81. I've tried to find a VMII for my kimber Ultra CDP and can't, I am now asking for some other ideas on holsters. I need (want) it to be top quality and tuckable. Help me out, I know that many of you are carrying some kind of tuckable rig.

I just got one and it took me about 3 days of "fiddling" with it to get it just right. Part of that is because there are just so many setting options with it that you CAN mess with it that much to get it to fit perfectly. It is very comfortable and very easy to miss. It is almost as comfortable as my Tucker OWB holster and I used it tucked in for the first time this past weekend and my wife thought I was carrying on the ankle that day until I showed her.nitrogen wrote:comptac C.T.A.C.
takes a bit of getting used to, but it's a wonderful stable holster, as long as you don't hate Kydex.
Just make sure you pick the right clips. I like the C clips as it still hides well and keeps the weight on the belt instead of on the pants, but the J clips will work just fine - especially for the lighter guns. I don't see any reason to go with the "normal" over the belt clips anymore.

VMII
progun147. I have a VMII for a Kimber Tactical Ultra 3" for sale. I don't know if it would work for you or not. Plus, as you can tell by my name it's left handed. Contact me by my e-mail if it would work for you.

I have never uses a Kydex holster, does it mar the finish of the weapon, I just have had no dealings with them at all.
Lefty, I'm just out of luck, I need a right hand holster, thanks anyway.

Depends on the finish. I've got an XD, with a cruddy finish, and it definately mars the finish, but then again, it doesn't take much to mar the finish of an XD.progun47 wrote:I have never uses a Kydex holster, does it mar the finish of the weapon, I just have had no dealings with them at all.

A Glock, or other weapon with a real finish should stand up a bit better.
