Well, an update on mine from Oct 7...the DPS person working on mine told me that day that mine was cleared and she thought she would have my license the next day to send to me. A call later in the week...still looking for my license. A call the next week, still looking, but cleared. Last week, she wouldn't answer her phone; must have caller ID. All the time the site says "still processing". A guy at the 800 number said they must be waiting on something and they shouldn't have said mine was cleared until they had the license and it was being mailed. I know, it has only been 75 days, but I'm addicted to checking the website, hoping for an update since the time I checked 5 minutes ago! In the meantime, I bought an xxxxl shirt and I've been carrying my dewalt cordless drill in my belt hoping to get used to having something stuck in my belt! I carry the extra battery in a fanny pack and the set of drill bits in my shirt pocket; kind of like kevlar, but different. I pulled the drill the other day on an older lady in wally world...her cart had a rattling wheel on it. I think it was covered under justifiable force.

Wally Walk complete. It felt super natural. I filled up at 7-Eleven gas station, bought some cleaning pads at the Walmart, and had a coffee at the Borders, read some Guns Magazines. Total trip was like 2hrs.

No one noticed a thing, nothing to adjust since I am carrying the smart way !

Details to follow soon.
