Looks like Laura Miller got a seat right near the head of the table:

"...the following agreements from the gang of 15:

- Work with local law enforcement agencies and state representatives to maximize penalties for those who posses, use and traffic in illegal guns
- Team up to oppose potentially damaging and limiting federal legislation
- Share best practices and innovative policing and law enforcement strategies - which includes creating a website to serve as a resource to all participating cities
- Meet by the end of the year and try to increase the number mayors attending to 50"

I have to wonder if there is someone else that is pushing or otherwise inspiring NYC Mayor Bloomberg on this gun control bent. I never heard a peep from this . . . individual on the topic of gun control until he got re-elected last autumn.

Who is Bloomberg proxying for? Who or what is putting him up to this? Is it the Brady Bunch and associated clowns, or some other actor? I find it difficult to believe that Bloomberg is pushing this nonsense all on his own. (I would not be surprised if he has/had an NYPD-issued pistol permit just like UpChuck does.)

I wouldn’t be surprised, either. He wants to make a name for himself, and one sure way is to align with a controversial agenda.
<tinfoil hat>Brady’s for sure, maybe even the U.N.?</tinfoil hat> ;-)

Hypothetically, could we ban her return to Texas???
Sorry, no can do. Article I, Secton 20 of the Texas Constitution says, "No citizen shall be outlawed. No person shall be transported out of the State for any offense committed within the same. This section does not prohibit an agreement with another state providing for the confinement of inmates of this State in the penal or correctional facilities of that state." Perhaps we should amend it to say, "No citizen who is not a brain-dead liberal shall be outlawed."

Yeah, me too. Is the gun itself illegal, or is it illegal because it's in the possession of a prohibited person, such as a convicted felon or illegal alien? If the latter is true, then the state needs to take action against those people who violate the law rather than against inanimate objects. Of course, Mayor Laura probably believes that guns rise up and shoot people of their own accord.
