SOLD Browning Hi Power MKIII 9mm [Houston]
Re: WTS/WTT Browning Hi Power MKIII 9mm [Houston]
Hi philbo,
I am interested in your gun, but unfortunately, I am in Granbury, near Fort Worth. A couple of questions, why is the gun not 100%? Also, has there been any work done to the gun? Have you tried to feed hollowpoints?
I don't know if you like revolvers, but I have a RHKP S&W 10-9 that is in excellent condition, just one small nick in the finish on the cylinder. It looks like it has been fired very few times, and was probably a spare armory gun until sold (my guess). This would be my trade + cash.
Thanks,
Brian

Brian, I listed the pistol at 98% or better merely because it has been fired, taken part, cleaned, and had the grips taken on/off. It is not NIB (New In Box), but if you can find anything wrong it would surprise me. Since it is not NIB, I would rather error on the side of caution than misrepresent something I am selling. I try to make sure the item is at least as good , if not better, than advertised. There are a few people on this forum that could likely vouch for this.BTin wrote:Hi philbo,

The gun is as it was shipped. No work or modification has been done to the pistol. Functioning with the 2 factory mags has been 100% with all ammo. I can't vouch for the 17 rd after market as I have never fired a round through them.
Thanks for the offer on the 38, but I'll pass.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I may still be interested if you can't find a local buyer. Just let me know!

I'd have to say that philbo takes great care of his many, many firearms. I've shot several of his guns, and he usually only sells them because he needs room in his safe for some "new acquisitions" (isn't that right philbo? . I don't think you could go wrong buying from him, and you can trust his word when he rates a gun.

Just in case any of you who know me and have not dealt with Philbo (however unlikely that is) , he is a great friend and deal with confidence. Please trade him something for this HP so I don't have to.

Well, sounds like I would be getting the best deal ever here with all of this vouching. So, I am still interested, if Diode does indeed want to be saved.
