Mossberg 12 ga

Greetings--

I've got a Mossberg 500-A w/ an 18' barrel. I"d like to get a 28" barrel (mod or adjustable choke). I see some around. They all say model 500 barrel.

Is there a difference in barrels for the mod 500 and 500-A ??

Same exact barels. Any replacement part should fit with the exception of some of the older forearms. But that isnt pertinent to your question. Any barrel you find for a Mossy 500 in your gauge should fit.

I'm in Houston and have a 28" barrel that I have no use for. PM me if you're interested. Not sure what they cost new, but this one is "like new" and I'll make you a very fair deal on it.

Slight hi-jack

I have a mossy 500 and it is a great gun.

I took the red dot off and I am replacing with a reflex.


It has a Knoxx stock with a shock absorbing system. I took a class last summer and we shot 00 buck and slugs ALL day, and it was like shooting bird shot.

I am replacing the current stock with one of these that has the same shock absorbing system;
