Maybe they just enjoy the attention -- after all, a lot more people are following this decision actively than just about any other going on now.

Amazing how it will be the "last" word out of that body this session...

It may become a victory for our side of the issue, but in reality...I am thinking its going to be a yawner of an opinion, as far as the other sides minions will portray it in the media...

BTW, I saw an interesting, yet slanted again story on the local CBS affiliate last night on the OC rumors coming up in the next state session...I believe this to be a pre-session balloon floated out there very cleverly by the media to get the jump on the hysteria about this issue...

Once again...The media is not our friend anyway you look at them...

I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow...

Yes, I remember and it is much like waiting on Christmas except we know that is going to be good AND it is going to come on a certain day --

This is more like waiting on the results of the most difficult exam we ever studied for thoroughly -- we THINK we did good, but we just cannot be sure until we see the score.

<grin> Yeppers. I'm afraid my work will suffer a while tomorrow morning while I keep one browser window and both eyes on SCOTUS.

Following the issuance of opinion, almost equally interesting will be the following day or two to see how the media, as well as pro-gun and anti-gun communication engines, treat the ruling.

I'm not quite sleepy just yet... ;-)

I’ve contacted my State Rep, Gary Elkins, about co-sponsoring HB560. Have you contacted your Rep?

I mostly just want to READ the decision; peruse it in detail. Then when they lie or just get it wrong (through the usual press incompetence) we will know.

What really should have happened was the nine justices shaould have all hit everyone on the DC side with a big rubber hammer up-side their head and told them to read the second amendment because it says "shall not be infringed" and declared all infringements unconstitutional.

That is the way the supreme court in my world would work.

Probably anygun had to get back to reality before he could drop out of fantasy, thus his tags parse properly.

Go to http://www.scotusblog.com and they will have a live applet on which you can watch the decisions as they are published. Pretty much everyone over on opencarry.org is tuned in.

Thanks - I've got that loaded up; I was hoping for a video feed from the court. I guess they don't do that.
