WTS – Beretta 96 - .40S&W
Excellent condition
Between 2,500 – 3,000 rounds fired
Sprinco recoil reducing guide rod http://www.sprinco.com/recoil.html
Hogue Grip with finger grooves http://www.getgrip.com/main/overview/semi.html
Wolff Trigger Conversion Unit #32371 (this has not been installed)
http://www.gunsprings.com/1ndex.html
2 - 10 round magazines
Original case, grips and gun lock.
I’ll also include a box of Federal Hydra-Shok rounds.

I bought this pistol new and I just don’t shoot it anymore. This has been an excellent pistol with absolutely no problems.

Pictures - http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/apboth/al ... /my_photos

Original Costs:
Beretta 96 - $550
Sprinco guide rod - $70
Hogue Grip - $20
Wolff Trigger Conversion - $20
Total - $660

Asking $475
Prefer FTF in Houston, but will ship at your expense.

Gentlemen, please let me use this area for some education. I see when conversation is going back & forth on a buy & sell deal that some initials are used. Take time to educate me on what they mean please.
btt - as in lumberjacks.
bump
any others I can't remember???
Thanks from a forum learner.

BTT= back to top
Bump= just another way of "bumping" the thread back up
WTS= Want to sell
WTB= Want to buy
WTK= Want to know
SPF= Sold Pending Funds
FTF= Face-to-Face

That's all I can think of..

BTT!

Thanks HT. The 2 I asked for & WTK are new to me. The others I did know. Took me a while to figure them out though.
On BTT, back to top. What does that mean?
Bump - what is bumping it up? Do these just put the post back at the top of the page it is listed on?
One of you guys needs to write a book titled "Forum Abreviations for Dummies" I'd buy it. :cry:

No problem. Sometimes a forum will move fast and your thread will move down. Using BTT is just another way to reply to your own thread to move it back to the first page or to the top again. Same goes with "bump". It's just showing that you want to move it back up.
I've seen people use ^^ also. It's whatever you want to do. There are no rules.

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b ... 8&t=242923

This is a common list of abbreviations used on AR15.com
The list does contain reference to some unfriendly language, which is very normal for this site. I did not find anything outright offensive while providing the above link. The list was once very useful to me when learning some of the slang and abbreviation. Take care.

No sweat. Glad y'all got it all worked out.

Somebody please buy this pistol so I can feed my firearm habit. I will entertain reasonable offers.
