Met Longtooth

#1

Post by dws1117 »

On our way to Nacogdoches on Saturday morning we made a stop in Lufkin to finallly exchange some brass with Longtooth. He and his lovely wife are terrific people. If it weren't for babies needing feeding I feel that we could have sat in the truckstop parking lot and talked for hours.

He was so good with my son. I've never seen my son, who normally pretends to be shy, warm up ro anyone so quickly. Trevor had a ball playing with the bungie cords in tha back of Longtooth's truck.

Gillian enjoyed speaking with Mrs. Longtooth. After we were back on the road she commented that we have to try to get with them when we are not rushed.

Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to get him to a range to learn a few thing from him.

If you get a chance to meet Longtooth, take it. You won't regret it.

Couple Months ago, I found out that a fellow CHL'r lived on my street in our small neighborhood. LT has been fun to hang out with and especially shoot with....

If any of you get a chance and are coming through Lufkin stop by and see us!

I too had the pleasure to meet LT last Friday and was very pleased to have done so! My cousin and I spent about 30-45 minutes talking with him and we had some very interesting conversation. He's A-#1 in my book!

Yup,

LT is responsible for guiding me to this forum. I met him while renewing my CHL. I knew right away I was talking to someone knowledgeable.

I hope to have a chance to shoot with him (and some of his group) soon.

His weekends, like mine, are usually pretty busy. But, one day..we'll devote some holiday time towards putting together a shoot at my place.

Great guy IMO. We're fortunate to have him here.
