I'm looking for an inexpensive semi-auto or bolt action 22LR rifle....something along the lines of a Marlin Model 60 or a Savage Mark II or similar. It doesn't have to be pretty, but it does need to function perfectly.
Ideally, I would like to keep it below $100 (but could go higher for the right gun). Also ideally, it would be close enough to College Station to do a FTF (since shipping and an FFL transfer fee would be such a large fraction of the cost), but I'll be traveling to the Houston / Galveston area in early June, so I could do a FTF there too. Please send offers and pics if possible.

I will be posting a Remington model 514 (541??) single shot next week. Not pretty, but shoots great. I'll have pics next week - Let me know if your interested.
