So, who'll be there this saturday? If you see me, tap me on the shoulder and reintroduce yourself. Chances are, I have met you but forgot who you are.

I am planning on coming over to shoot. As of now it is me, my wife and another shooting buddy unless he has to work Sat.

I've never been to PSC before so hopefully we won't get lost on the way.

Cool deals! DiverDn. Just come straight down I45, exit NASA Parkway / FM 528. Head west down FM 528 (take a right toward Alvin), Keep going down until you see the Friendswood water tower on your right. Not too long after you see the water tower, you'll see the sign to PSC on your left. Take the left to go into the gravel road to PSC. That's the best I could do to explain it at the moment. lol.

Now I'm just thinking of what I should use. Glock 19 (SSP) or Springfield 1911 (CDP) I guess I'll decide when the time comes.

That's funny, I was working on that same decesion. I have shot my Glock 34 much more than my 1911 so I was thinking that since I was at a new range I would stay with what is more familar the Glock. But how can I become better with the 1911 (and how can I show it off) if I don't shoot it.

Thanks for the directions, I will also print the map from the PSC site.

Why not take both?

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

It was great to see everyone at the match today. Bunch of good, safe shooters. Made the SOs job easy. I was the one running bay B.

I can't seem to remember which one was B? Was it the one where you get to kneel behind a dumpster looking thing and reload? But yeah. The weather was perfect, and it was fun indeed. Mr. Paladin came and said hi to me and I was going to go bother Tom, but he seems to be in some sort of conversation everytime I walked up. Oh well. Next time.
