Re: Pasadena Gun Center
Pasadena Gun Center is a converted movie theatre. I haven't shot there in over 20 years, but there used to be nothing to diminish the blast of shooting inside a concrete cubicle. You get the full benefit of sound and concussion.
However, since they rent full auto firearms, there should be no issue with shooting your AR there.
Make sure to take earplugs and muffs.

It's on the dingy side. I wouldn't take a newbie in there.

I have shot there a bunch. They are good folks. It is not pretty but it does allow you to feed your need indoors.

Re: Pasadena Gun Center
Well we went to pasadena gun center yesterday, there were three of of, me ,my wife and her father. The two guys working the counter were extremly friendly and helpful.
We were there long enough to throw 300 9mm and 140 .223 down range
The place is fortified like a bunker with the concrete walls between lanes, there were a few familes there with 9-10 year old kids running back and forth.
the a/c, ventilation and lighting was all sub par and we spent the next three hours coughing up gun powder and getting the black out of out noses. My FIL and I decided that our next trip will be to the PSC orientation to join!
Due to the construction of PGC I could not fire my shotgun (the lanes were so narrow) so we swung by Marksman on South Houston to run 15 shotshells downrange. I walked into the range as as I was palcing my target, i noticed that it was clean cooled, well lit and well run- it was like night and day- too bad i cant fire .223 there!

Re: Pasadena Gun Center
They made it sound like any caliber was ok. I dont know the range lenght as i could not see the end due to poor lighting dust and smoke i ran my target out to about 10-15- yards
Re: Pasadena Gun Center
i personally go to marksman they have a really nice facility ... not the best in the world but compared to PGC its a palace lol ... i only go to PGC to fulfill my .223 needs if i dont wanna drive otherwise its off ASC just my .02
