Summer is just around the corner, are there any of you out there with a springfield xd 40 subcompact ?

If so what do you find is is to conceal with?

Crossbreed Supertuck. It has two clips so it doesn't rotate on you when you sit and stand. It's not the prettiest of the bunch but it works and you can easily customize it to fit *you*.

I love my Tucker "The Answer" It wears very well with shorts (I have cargo shorts with a cinch type belt with dbl D ring buckle from Old Navy) and it works flawlessly in summer with a t-shirt. and sandals. Keeps me cool. This will be my 2nd summer in Dallas with this holster and it still looks as good as the day I got it. Sweat and all :) I'm 5'10" 165 so not a lot of room on my person, and no printing issues. I carry an XD-9 SC FWIW. I just checked their site and they just came out with a new holster that looks pretty cool and it is smaller than the answer. http://www.tuckergunleather.com

How long did it take for you to receive your Tucker? Is it typical for it to take 4-5 months? What about the Tucker Heritage - have you heard anything about this one?

What about the belt - did you buy a good reinforced belt too?....

I had a belt from gun show vendor (great belt but I bought it too small) I ordered a belt from the Beltman http://www.beltman.net His belt is a proper fit and is very high quality.

As far as the holster I had to wait 6-8 weeks if I remember right. I guess demand is high for such a high wait time. I can vouch for Tuckers quality as being Awsome! If you see one you like online, I would get it. I'm sure you have a general idea of what will work for you. If for any reason you don't like it, I have heard they will take it back no questions asked or will modify it for you a bit. I would call them and see what they say. I only have 2 holsters (no holster drawer) one paddle holster from Springfield that is for the XD (which surprisingly works VERY WELL for me,and I happened too wear all day today) and the Tucker The Answer.

Try David Bullard at D.M. Bullard Leather Mfg, his holsters are great and are very reasonable in price. http://www.dmbullardleather.com/

Animal Cop is correct.

Bullard holsters are very nice. I bought mine for my XD-40SC at the Ft. Worth gun show. Paid less than $60 for a quality leather IWB/OWB holster with two metal clips. Cant is adjustable and clips are reversible to allow use inside waistband or clipped to the belt for OWB carry. Only thing I don't like is that the opening is not reinforced and re-holstering is not easy.

You guys have to check out this site. Some of you guys may have heard of him but makes really great custom holsters. I have several and are very pleased. He also can do exotic skins such as alligator, shark, ostrich.

I just got my Comp tac Infidel a few weeks ago and love it. Any one in the market for an IWB should look at this one. The great customer service doesn't hurt either. I got mine in a week, from placeing the order to put in it on my waist. :woohoo

No more waiting for the Crossbreed Supertuck. Got mine in 5 days. Others have posted similar wait times over the last few weeks. He'll tell you 3-5 days build time and 3-5 delivery time.

VERY comfy holster!

I must say that my crossbreed (SOB) is the most comfortable I have found. I got min 3 days after the order. XD9SC, SA 1911.
