Any ranges in Marshall Texas?

Post by Doug.38PR »

Anyone know of any ranges in Marshall Texas? Or at least in the Harrison County area. I know there are probably some in Longview and Shreveport LA but I'd rather find one that is within a 5 to 10 minute drive. I am temproarily working in Marshall.

We're from Longview. Only ranges that I know of are in Longview, Tyler and Shreveport. The East TX Rifle and Pistol Club in Longview is a membership-only facilty-- no day or per-hour access.

I havent been to any of the ranges in Shreveport. This Sunday, there is a IDPA match in Shreveport-- although I don't know all the details. Saturday the 18th , there is a State IDPA match in Shreveport. You can check the IDPA website for details.

Found one!!! Green's Gun Range just outside of Marshall. You have to be a CHLer to join which suits me just fine. You pretty much have the whole range to yourself. Just pull you truck up to the firingline, open the back and pick your gun and open fire

Yes, Green's Gun Shop and Range is great place to go. As mentioned in a prior post, you must be an CHLer in order to join. The Green's have a nice and handy range.

On a personal note, I took my CHL class there, and also attended when my hubby went through (even more interesting the second time around!).

As for the shop, the Green's are friendly, knowledgeable of firearms, and are TRULY honest!!! In my book, this says a lot! I highly recommend!

Hope this helps,

THis is so true. When my Mom decided she wanted hers I went w/ here for her moral support. She was really nervous. It was so good for me that since then I have gone w/ almost everyone I have trained to shoot or am responsible for in the family. You made a wise choice.
