nice surprise this morning!!!

I refreshed my online status several times yesterday and always saw "Processing Application".

This morning I refresh and now "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"

Makes me smile ... will be smiling all day

Sent in packet 12/31
so that's 58 days plus mail time from Austin

This almost offsets the IRS missing my electronic depost date for the tax refund ... ain't it grand dealing with all the government junk that our constitution was supposed to protect us from? I think no one even 100 years ago would have believed self-employed middle class citizens would be paying almost 50% of income as taxes to the federal government (yeah I know some of that is in "safe keeping" for my retirement "security" ... yeah right).

Ah well - I guess the price of freedom is just more expensive than the founding fathers thought it would be ...

I'm hoping that the wife's speeds up then. They received the completed application on Feb 6, but 22 days later it still says "Packet Mailed to Applicant" from when she pre-registered with the state in January.

Mine stayed at "Packet Mailed to Applicant" for 52 days from the time they received it. Put your feet up and sit back. It's going to be awhile.
