Hello, Badger531! You have great taste! I'm new myself and have found my new on line "home here. These gentlemen are all friendly, knowledgeable and won't laugh regardless of the question you might ask. There are no "dumb" questions. Have a seat, and welcome!

Re: Introduce yourself
Hello world!
Just joined the forum today, and thanks to "anygun" with help joining the NRA Life Member program. This appears to be the place to be for great information and comradeship. By way of introduction, I was born in Ft. Worth, and have lived in Houston for approximately 55 years. I am a semi-retired househusband, and currently teach private music lessons on guitar on a part time basis. I've been a gun owner since the 1960's, and I've even fired some on occasion. So, hello to all at this forum!

It is a cliche that most cliches are true, but then like most cliches, that cliche is untrue.

Re: Introduce yourself
Single is excellent. However, there's a certain bird...very well known..that is a wonderful blend of the best! After a limit of White Wings, there's nothing like "The Famous Grouse!" :O)

Re: Introduce yourself
As I was writing the question, I was sipping that "well known bird".
I prefer the Speyside Malts, but the Islays are an interesting departure now and then.

Welcome, Guardian!
First piece of advice - get a handgun! It's real hard to conceal a shotgun.
