Bad range night and my son outted me in a restraunt

Come to think of it. I need to have a little chat with my friends. Those who knows me well enough knows I carry. But those are also the ones that keeps busting my chops by patting me down. I know they meant it as a joke, but sometimes I don't really find that funny especially in a public place.
As for carrying, I've been carrying my Glock 19 for the past few days in a CTAC and it's so much lighter around my waist. I almost want to carry it full time. . Nah, I like my 1911s better.

Yeah - my friends do that too...well...close friends. Or they ask if I have "it" on me...and I tell them what I always do "I can't answer that question but don't put me in a situation to find out"KinnyLee wrote:Those who knows me well enough knows I carry. As for patting my hip, mine do that too as a joke sometimes...nobody really knows what they're doing, but I halfway put my roommate in an arm-bar last time he did. He's a little slower to act, and quicker to think now.

What a back brace??Walked up behind me & put her hands on the small of my back & said, 'scuse me OhOOO. Quietly she asked, "was that what I think it was?" Depends on what you think it was. She grinned & said I have one too.
+1 on the weapon choice. I wear $15 shirts from Target, but I have to have gear that matches. No black belt w/ brown holster/ammo carrier.

yes Baytown, excellent. She could have made a loud scene if she had been an anti. 'Coarce since sheeple don't really pay attention to anything going on around them because the police will take care of them & keep them safe, I doubt they would have known what it was.

Longtooth,
You were in a cell phone store! She probably thought it was a............. cell phone, and of course she has one too! You guys crack me up!
At least your mother dosen't say " This is my son____, guess what he has in his waist pack" I guess the good thing is, when I don't have my waist pack on, she thinks I'm unarmed!!
The only person that ever hugged me and got a hand full of SIG never said a word. Not even to my wife later.
Now I wear the SmartCarry to public huggie places.

Being a big guy, 6'7" and 300lbs, I have developed a method for those wanting a hug, I kep my arms parallel with my torso, bending them at the elbows and holding the forearms and hands out in front. This causes everyone to go high for a hug. I staretd doing this when some of my Christian Brothers came up to give me a hug during services. This way nobody's arms or hands get near my concealed weapon.
I was made once when my sons girlfriend, whom I had just met, came up to give me a hug and felt the gun when she wrapped her arms around my waist. She just looked up and said quietly, "my dad, the air marshall, carries there as well".

Good job tex45. See there overeasy, there's another gal that knew what it was & where it should be carried. One of you young guys grab her sister. All mine are married.
