Count me in.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

All,
The 2008 Texas State IDPA Championship http://www.ccidpa.org/sp_event/txs08_inf.html is on it's way to becoming a reality. Get your applications in early as last year we had to turn away many applications...not because they came in after the deadline but because the match filled to capacity early. The STAGES are set, more berms will have been constructed, and the prize table, as usual, will be amazing. Collin County IDPA and the best SOs in the business are ready to make this one of the most memorable and most competitive matches you will ever shoot.

I'm in, check and application in the mail last week. I shot 3 sanctioned matches last year and Texas State was by a huge margin the best of the bunch. If I could only shoot one, this would be the one.
thanks, George

It is most unfortunate that Samantha and I will not be able to attend this year's Texas State IDPA match......something to do with her graduation on the same day.
I have worked with this group for both their Regional and State matches and can not say enough good things about their matches. A better group of shooters and SO's one can rarely find.
Plan on going.

I will also be absent from the Texas State match this year.....fine group of folks, but life has taken me in a different direction for much of this year. I will be there in 09.

Sorry, guys I think Garry has his priorities right! I am just not sure Sam does. Lets see... a grad party on one hand or a State match with us on the other hand?

Tell Sam congratulations and that I'm proud of her! BTW, also tell her I've only seen her at one match in months, so she's still grounded.solaritx wrote:It is most unfortunate that Samantha and I will not be able to attend this year's Texas State IDPA match......something to do with her graduation on the same day.

Congrats! Sam - we'll miss both of you. Are you sure you can't get them to reschedule the graduation thing?
