Well, I've officially begun the waiting game. Today (01/25/08) I mailed my application out via certified mail.
One quick question, though. I've seen you guys talking about getting your PIN for checking online status, but I haven't seen anyone mention exactly how you receive this PIN. Can someone enlighten me?

Welcome to the forum and the Waiting Room!
Once the DPS starts processing your application they will issue you a pin so you can go online HERE and check the status of your applicaiton. You will usually get it 30 - 40 days after they start processing it. If you haven't gotten it by that time, you can email or call them and they will let you know what it is if there are no problems with your application.
