Anyone know of an indoor place to shoot while I am in Houston this week? I am staying at Wilcrest and Westheimer west of Beltway 8.

Any help is appreciated.

Top Gun is a few miles from where your at. Indoor range. Cost you around $15 to shoot. Pretty good place in my humble opinion. Address is 5901 Beverly Hill, Houston TX 77057 Their phone # if you need additional directions is 713-779-4867. If you decide you want an outdoor place Great American Shooting Range is off of Westheimer going West from where your at. Dont have the address handy right now. Should be listed in the phone directory though. Hope this helps.

+1 for American Shooting Center. It is a great place to shoot....several choices for distance and steel plates available. The staff is friendly and the grounds are clean. +++ they have a cool pro shot (a bit expensive, but plenty of eye candy). Be sure to take some protective glasses because they require them on the range. Have a great time and try your hand at the plates.....they are fun but frustrating at times. The range is located in George Bush Park. Call them and they will gladly give you great directions. Take care

Both Top Gun and American Shooting Center are good choices. American Shooting Center is cheaper and it is outdoor.

You can only shoot one at a time, so more guns doesn't mean more shooting. If I show up with a 10/22 and a bag full of loaded magazines, I guarantee I can shoot up 500 rounds in an hour. But I'd have to pay extra to sight in a .30-06, .45-70, and .300 Weatherby, at 4-5 rounds apiece?

Odd way of doing it...

Visited Top Gun today.... Very nice place.... Helpful People.... Only thing I didnt like was the guy that kept handing me handguns when I asked for them! ;P

Nice selection of SIGs, Glocks, etc....

Thanks again for the recommendation.

Oh it's worse than that Kevin... That's just the pistol course. If you want to shoot a rifle, it's another 8 bucks or so for the rifle range fee.
