So I went to check on wife/my CHL applications today, and BOTH of our applications are listed as "No application or license/certificate active."
what the heck?? Of course, it ten minutes after closing time at the DPS, so a call will have to wait until tomorrow.
We sent apps in via return receipt - so they were received at DPS on 20 December.
Any ideas???

The website is often slow to update. I wouldn't sweat it too much. Your status will probably change within a few days.

Make sure you were not trying to login at the instructor link instead of the student link.
Re: No application or license/certificate active.
It took almost a month for DPS to say YES we got. So hang in there, it will take them a while.

I know the answer to this if you haven't gotten it figured out yet. I did the same thing. There are two identical places to click on to check status, one right above the other. One is CHL applicant, and the other is Instructor Applicant. If you click on Instructor Applicant by mistake, you get the message you got.airmotive wrote:So I went to check on wife/my CHL applications today, and BOTH of our applications are listed as "No application or license/certificate active."

Yeah, I felt kind of dumb too when the return email to the one I sent them politely pointed out what I had done.
