I really hate the NRA's attempts at online media. Podcast and vodcasts weren't just invented yesterday. They really need to get up to speed.

From the very little I heard:mdek wrote:Can anyone provide a quick summary?
The troubles with Citi are real.
CDNN has found a different card processor.
There has been a landslide boycott of Citi, account closings, and card choppings.
Mr Crawford is thankful for the support.
fwiw, the account closings ain't over, yet.

absolutely.. I wanted a large MP3 recorder/ player christmas before last just to record the nightly NRA radio.KBCraig wrote:Podcast and vodcasts weren't just invented yesterday. They really need to get up to speed.
That way I would be able to listen to it in it's entirety the next afternoon.
I got the present, but took it back unopened as I had found out they don't do podcast. If they want to get the message out, it would help if the message were transportable, and sharable.
I think about it everyday, when I'm making the choice between Ramsey or Hannity.

And yesterday Citigroup announced they were in major trouble (I think I heard $18B in lost revenue?) and will be laying off 24,000 employees. Sounds like they need some new business practices overall.

Should've held on to it; we only get the first hour of Gun Talk here, so I started downloading their podcasts, and it's so much nicer to be able to listen to them whenever and wherever I want. An MP3 CD player can be even nicer though, since the CDs are a more practical long-term storage method than SD cards.lrb111 wrote:absolutely.. Since we got the car stereo with MP3 capability, I've found that carrying 20-40 hours of good talk radio is really handy since every broadcast station runs their "two dorks and a ditz" format show at the same time, and I get sick of those within the first five minutes.
