Pics of a few of my favorites!
Here are a few of my favorites. I'll make sure there aren't any dead animals in this one! I took out the guns in my first post since it's in hunting photo's now. Sorry, the safe pic isn't the best, I couldn't get a good angle because of the way it's arranged in the garage. I put yellow lines around the Clip Draw, and the Safety Block on the Glock 30 in case some of you haven't seen them before. I like to carry the G30 IWB just like that. No extra holster bulk, but the trigger is safe. Hope you guys like them!!!

That's a fine collection TacTex! Hope the wife isn't pokin' fun at ya' too hard about the 'man purse' comments you said she was making. That looks like a good pack though. Going out this weekend to pick out a safe. If you don't mind me asking where did you find yours? I have a bass pro, a sportsman's, and academy within a short distance.

This one came from Academy. It's supposed to hold 28 long guns if you use both sides, or 14 long guns if you use one side, and leave the shelves in the other. My white backside! It's hardly holding what's already in there!! I also have one full of assorted other stuff like .22's I thought I could rescue and things I never actually take out. I bolted an old truck tool box to my garage floor for that one.

I bet those optics don't help much in getting that filled up to 28 but who would want to bump those and have to go back out to sight them in again! Thanks for the heads up, I'll pop over there tomorrow and see what they have. I think I'm going to aim a little larger (don't tell muh' wife) in hopes I can drop in a nice long rifle or 4 in the distant future!

Someone gave my wife the advice to "get the biggest gun safe you can afford, or maybe one size larger than that".
That'll have to wait until we move for the very last time.

That's some good advice. Yesterday I looked around quite a bit and figured I would hold off in the end. I think the stores are still under stocked since the holidays.

Haha, Mac! That's quite the compliment! Thank you! When we've moved into the house we know we want to stay in, I'm going to do something cool. Texas Tech designed a safe room for tornados and such, and they can put a safe type door on it. A friend of mine who is a contractor build one into the garage of a house he's building. It's one heck of a room! You can even finish it on the inside like a real room! I have visions of building one into my house one day the size of a 2 car garage with a big, metal, safe style door on it. That would be my ultimate gun safe! I could put my work bench in there, with all the toys for working on my guns, and leave them out all the time! That's the dream anyway......

There are a few pics of rooms closely resembling that TacTex lurking on this forum. That would be my choice for sure. I looked into closet vault doors and they are a bit pricey for me. Also, I would definitely need to reinforce the archways to accommodate it.

SWEET!!! I can finally use that retinal scanner I bought a few months ago! It really would be cool to have a room like that. I'd love to be able to have all my stuff up on pegboards in one big room.

It just don't get more better than an underground, safe room with a retinal scan...unless you hang a "No Zombies" sign on the front.

Safes are like garages and storage buildings. Eventually, you always end up wanting a larger one!
