John Sigler is a fine man. He and I served on the same submarine waaaaay back when...not at the same time. He is our boat's association attorney. While at the last reunion I had my "NRA Houston" shirt on. He asked me if I went to the convention and told him I had. He flashed his NRA business card.

He has several friends on this site, including Chas.

And I agree, Seadawg, ya'll are purty cute.

The only good marine is a submarine. :patriot:

As anygunanywhere said, John is a great guy and he has earned his office of First VP. It was an honor to introduce him at the banquet Saturday night and I also enjoyed poking a little fun at him about Texas annexing Delaware and making it Delaware County, Texas.

That was priceless!

I can't believe J. Dark timed you!

If you want to poke fun back at him...Ask him how he felt when someone sat him next to Combs up on the dias...She's about the tallest lady I have ever met...

You know anygun if this were not such a polite board I would have to post the joke about the Navy going to powdered soap because it takes longer to pick it up when you drop it on the floor. But....Since this is a nice person forum, I won't post it.

He was playing, just like I was! We have a lot of fun at each other's expense.

That's the truth! I knew she was a good friend of gun-owners, but that's the first time I had the chance to hear her speak. I REALLY like her and hope she keeps moving up in State government.

Regards,
Chas.
