Howdys folks,
Been carrying a S&W 442 for pocket carry. I normaly wear types of dress slacks, Dockers, or jeans. While the pockets seem big enough for the gun inside a Uncles Mikes pocket holster to fit, I find sometimes the gun is still slightly visible. Mostly only if you were standing behind me, such as in a checkout line or such, at a certain angle you can see slightly into the pocket and see part of the grip. The grip does not stick out, just a matter of the pocket be slightly open.
I was wondering if those of you who pocket carry have any problems like this? I was thinking that it might still be wise to wear an untucked cover shirt if the dress situation will allow.
I would appreciate any suggestions, maybe I am slightly paranoid still since I am new to CHL carry.
thanks,
TYTL

Me thinks you worry too much.
Is it possible that you're still in that 'everyone's looking at my gun' stage?
As long as they would have to look down into your pocket to see it, I would forget about it.

Re: J Frame 442 pocket carry and dress
You may be able to make it disappear by trying to get it to settle in your pocket at a different angle. I have a similar issue with my J-Frame in some pants, and I use the untucked shirt method you were thinking of, (which I need anyway to hide my IWB primary,) but it does work quite well for covering my pocket gun as you've presumed.
