Didn't even hang the keys up before throwing it on the flo to git a pic of it!!!

You are going to need a lot more magazines there muh man!

You didn't say who the manufacturer is...Or maybe I missed that info...

Anyway congratulations on your purchase, you now have an official homeland security rifle now...Welcome to the club... ;-)

If you reloadammo i can give you a site that sells .223 bullet tips pretty cheap If that has the A-3 upper holosights are da bomb fer fast target acquisition ;-) nice addition to your retirement fund

good call  I'll try to get a better pic. The ironic thing is I took that a/ my Canon HV20 HD camcorder. Takes awesome video but horrible stills.

that's cause HD needs so much more light than high speed film, I guess....
I dunno, I think I just made that up....
the pic actually looks infinitely better on the work's LCD screen than my ol' CathodeRayTube moitor from home (that weighs 150,000 pounds).

sooooooo, where did ya'll meet, how did ya'll get together:?::?::?::?:
:smilelol5:
oh, wait. that wasn't the used one that was on sale at Cabela's, was it? man, I saw a few folks lookin' at that thing! good greab!
that case looks like the plastic ones they had at the front of the store for $19.99!

Ok, here's a little better picture. Gotta hold the camera REALLY still. The target's not the best but I feel pretty good about it being my first time w/ the riffle. (15-20 yrds) To answer DoubleJ's question we met at the bar  Well that's half way true. Had been wanting a new gun for a while and chatted w/ some friends over a couple beers about the weapon I would come to purchase. Luckily the penal code doesn't prohibit discussion of firearms in a 51% establishment

I went down to Red's the next day. I was pretty sure what I was gonna get but checked out a few diff models. $800 later I came home w/ my new riffle.

Now I just wish I lived out in the country even more.

nice AR...

can't wait to finish my first in the next few days...waiting on my barrel and handguard, then can fully assemble it.

it may be a big month for firearms, I may also purchase a new Glock this weekend, and a shotgun after Christmas...
