USSS Uniformed Officer Shoots self

A U.S. Secret Service (USSS) Uniformed Division officer was injured in Washington, D.C., Saturday night after accidentally shooting himself.

The agent, who was on duty, was handling his service weapon when the firearm discharged.

There are UNIFORMED Secret Service Officers? Kinda blows the whole secret thing apart, doesn't it?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

I think they were the sniper team that delivered the kill shot on the assassin in Butler, PA. I refuse to use his name.
