The revolver doesn't function as an old SA does. You load the cylinder by opening the loading gate which allows the cylinder to turn. Same for unloading it. There is no safety cock or half cock for the hammer. In fact if you bring the hammer halfway back and release it forward the cylinder turns slightly as the stop releases it and then you can't pull the hammer back until you turn the cylinder to a point where the cylinder stop re-engages to lock the cylinder. Took a while to figure all that out. Trigger is not too awfully bad.
It came with a free Uncle Mike's nylon holster as pictured. Size wise it compares closely to a Ruger Single Six though the Wrangler plastic grip is a little thinner. I put the Bear Cat in to show the difference. Trigger pull is 5-1/4LB on my Wheeler mechanical scale and 4lb 15oz on my digital scale. $139.99 from CDNN, plus shipping and Tax, $175 and some change.
