2 women murdered by assassin from behind a fence while they sat on their front porch talking in the Heights at 1:30 am. A third woman ran and was not injured. All were best friends. Estranged boy friend is suspected. Type of gun was not mentioned, dressed in black and camo with hoodie.

In most likely an unrelated assassination, a man leaving for work at 3 am was murdered in his driveway in his car by a man with an AK 47 who fired 13 times. The dead man worked for 30 years for a large company located at the airport.

Odd coincidence?

In other Houston area news: a man has been cleared of a felony of injuring a police officer with his car and then failing to stop and render aid. Video from another private car at the scene shows the officer kicking a car as it past him while he was directing traffic, he then fell causing his injury. The driver will now be charged with a misdemeanor of failing to follow the directions of a police officer. Somebody got lucky.

Houston attorney attempts to calm down an irate customer at McDonalds I-10 and Chimney Rock and ends up being murdered by the irate customer who turned his anger on the good Samaritan. He is at large. Color of pick up truck but not man.

Dumped her body in a bayou. What if it was your daughter or grand daughter. Blood on Brandon’s hands.

Recent Supreme Court decision means Brandon cannot be charged as an accessory in her murder, after he leaves office.

Questionable shooting of a man in an apartment hallway of a relative who had been burglarized. Body cam video of shooting. Victim who must have had a gun shot once in the leg. Hard to tell but seems like officers fired a lot of times. Really long apartment hallway.

There's a Biden assisted illegal alien crime wave going on. Another one to add to the list. A 13 year old girl kidnapped by 5 illegals in Indiana found in Missouri.

Houston has a new police chief. If he is as good as his photo, criminals better head to Austin.

I don't envy anyone stepping into that job. The HPD is understaffed and doesn't have the budget to make a significant dent in that. Worse, all indications are that Harris County will, this November, get a DA that's even more "progressively" left than Kim Ogg, the DA since 2017. It's a difficult thing to do your job if the DA let's a boatload of criminals skate with little or no bond...or chooses not to prosecute at all. :???:

Note to self: don’t chase after suspicious men at night in your neighborhood without your gun or preferably a rifle.

RIP.

Suspect also appears to be a conservative. Deputy Constable murdered was sitting in his personal SUV in plain clothes on way to work.

Wonder if there is much more to this story.

Judging by their names, both the shooter and victim were arab Muslim. Next question would be if they knew each other, because it sounds like a hit.

Booking photo of suspect after lengthy chase by police including swimming and K9 “assisting” in his capture.

Sister in Iraq said he felt the government was after him.

https://www.click2houston.com/news/loca ... th-gunman/

Deputy Constable had a dash cam which captured almost everything. They met and had a conversation in his security company parking lot, shook hands. Cant hear what they talked about. He was looking in his rear view mirror and probably realized the man was following him. Maybe he did not see him get out of his car at the stop light. Emptied the entire gun into him. Very odd.

90 yo Navy Vet shot beaten and run over with his own car by most likely a Brandon era tourist.

Not the country he fought for. RIP.

See this in the linked article, led me to decide to carry even more often, then I do currently. And more ammo.
According to court documents, Arceneaux allegedly threatened two other people who had attempted to help Beckett.
I can't think of a better use of my concealed carry than to fill a perp like this with copper jacketed lead.
