Rescue/foster for a dog

We are urgently seeking a foster or foster-to-adopt arrangement for Jack. About a month ago, my wife and I found him roaming our street and took him in. He's been fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm, and treated for an ear infection. The vet estimates he's nearly 2 years old.

Jack is a loving "velcro-dog" who adores cuddling and companionship. He's an intelligent shepherd mix, weighs 48 pounds, and learns quickly without needing treats as incentives. Jack gets along well with people and dogs, though he prefers gradual introductions. Ideally, he would thrive in a home where someone is often present or with another dog for company during the day. He is housebroken and crate trained, making him an excellent indoor companion.

Jack is currently located in SW Houston 77071. Unfortunately, our existing dogs have not accepted him, and our female dog is experiencing depression and weight loss as a result. If you or someone you know is willing to foster or foster-to-adopt Jack, please reach out to us.
