Evidently it's years to decades depending on the type of beer, what container it's in, and how it's stored. On Wednesday, Harris County Criminal Court hearing officer Courtney St. Julian signed off on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond.... In Mann's case, this included appearing for all scheduled court appearances. But Mann wasn't at his scheduled 9 a.m. hearing on Thursday....

ABC13 called and texted St. Julian to ask why she approved a personal recognizance bond for Mann, who was previously listed as an out-of-state fugitive in 2021.

Just perfect. The border crisis, 19.2% inflation over just 3 years, and all crime everywhere is obviously Trump's fault. Liberal DAs and judges have no responsibility or accountability for the lawlessness in the streets. How exactly did Harris County Criminal Court hearing officer Courtney St. Julian decide that someone already on the books as an out-of-state felon and who was panhandling for change at street corners with the enticement of a crowbar and smashed car windows was perfectly good for a $2,500 personal recognizance bond?

Teare worked as the division supervisor for the Vehicular Crimes Division of the DA's office before leaving in February to run against her. He received the backing of one of Houston's most powerful political figures, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo.

Teare is Soros funded and clearly outspent anyone other campaign for any position in Harris County in this primary. I give it a 0.01% chance that a Republican challenger can win in November. I beat my head against the nearest wall when Ogg won in 2016, but Teare will be even worse. Hard-line liberal who bends the knee to George Soros "progressiveness." If we think things in the county regarding criminal prosecution are bad now, it's gonna get worse if/when Teare wins.

Houston had escaped the bad DA’s like LA, Chicago and NewYork. Ogg did a good job, now she has been thrown out by a Soros supported someone who accused her of being a Republican for criticizing judges who let everyone out with no bail.

Bystander stopping a robbery from couple buying gas at a convenience store, shoots and kills the robber. Apparently the robbery was a fake robbery that was staged as a scheme to get a Visas to the US. Witnesses and victims are apparently given US Visas so they can appear as witnesses to a crime.

The guy apparently had been doing this scheme for some time, but this time, a bystander seeing the apparent crime, stepped up and killed him.

They are saying it was self defense. Did clerk use car as an offensive weapon? Or they were just in fear of their lives because they were being followed by a man in a car?

Quanell says it's self defense. That defense line is about as lame as lawyer Allen Tanner's 'Rap defense' for the murder of state trooper Bill Davidson in 1992 by a thug whose name I refuse to include. Tanner's ridiculous use of rap music being the inspiration for murder was a failure and the murderer was finally executed October 6, 2005. I hope these thugs get the same sentence.

A 17-year-old charged with murdering a store clerk is a free person after a Harris County grand jury chose not to indict him on Tuesday.

Mario Young was charged in the shooting death of Humble store clerk Asif Maknojia during a dispute that started with a stolen bag of chips....

"These young men were not guilty of anything other than trying to protect themselves at a time when they thought something was going to happen to them," Lott Brooks [Young's attorney] said.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't an individual have to be at least 18 years old to to possess and transport a handgun in Texas? And while there is an allowance for licensed carry for individuals 18 through 20, didn't HB1927 made it legal in Texas for qualifying people 21 or over to carry a handgun in a holster without a permit both openly and/or concealed?

So the 17-year-old wearing a hoody with the hood up to hide his face from store cameras and carrying a gun illegally while shoplifting was just a saint doing Peace Corps work and he is "not guilty of anything other than trying to protect himself at a time when he thought something was going to happen to him"?

The poor baby. His mother said, "He's physically and mentally depressed, he's stressed, and he's going to need some counseling."

Armed Guy was robbed at ATM at night. Robber ran away. Victim begins shooting at fleeing robber as is his right in Texas.

His bullets hit passing pick up truck, killing 9 year old little girl.

Grand jury does not indict. Family protests. DA who will be replaced at next election, puts special prosecutor on case and man is now indicted 2 years after the shooting.

Good for old DA. You own your bullets, don’t be stupid.
