TX: QR code parking meter scams

Geez, I have only used a QR code once or twice in my whole life, now people are already attaching QR codes to parking meters and faking you into paying them money.

Obviously this is a scam for those techie youngins.

I never scan those things. I have zero trust in them.

I just realized I got scammed by one of those in Norman, OK. I scanned and filled out the form, but it never worked on the meter. Weeks later I got notices from my Identity Scanning service that my e-mail and some other info hacked.

although its just plain messed up
you have to give props to the techie that figured it out and followed through with the plan.
i bet its easy to track as the qr code would lead to a digital path the their bank .
