Geez, I have only used a QR code once or twice in my whole life, now people are already attaching QR codes to parking meters and faking you into paying them money.

Obviously this is a scam for those techie youngins.

I never scan those things. I have zero trust in them.

I just realized I got scammed by one of those in Norman, OK. I scanned and filled out the form, but it never worked on the meter. Weeks later I got notices from my Identity Scanning service that my e-mail and some other info hacked. :???:
4/13/1996 Completed CHL Class, 4/16/1996 Fingerprints, Affidavits, and Application Mailed, 10/4/1996 Received CHL, renewed 1998, 2002, 2006, 2011, 2016...). "ATF... Uhhh...heh...heh....Alcohol, tobacco, and GUNS!! Cool!!!!"

although its just plain messed up
you have to give props to the techie that figured it out and followed through with the plan.
i bet its easy to track as the qr code would lead to a digital path the their bank .
