Loss of freedom and Covid

#1

Post by philip964 »

Covid has created an opportunity for government officials to end freedoms in many parts of the world.

I’ll start with Calgary, Canada.

The Canadian press seems unsympathetic to ending religious freedom in Canada. This is about a Canadian pastor raided by SWAT for worshiping in violation of the health order.

COVID has created multiple dictators over counties, cities, states, and countries. When people allow their freedoms to be taken away, it is much harder to get them back. Personally, I don't think any COVID dictator should limit people from assembling to worship as shown in the video above. Likewise, people should have the right to choose to get the vaccine. In the US, the abortion debate is that women should have control over their bodies, except when it comes to COVID. Then vaccines are mandated. It's hypocrisy at its finest. Then there is the great debate over mask mandates. Do masks work or not?? I've not seen any definitive data that masks, fabric masks, surgical masks prevent the airborne virus from infecting the wearer. All I see are recommendations. Remember this recommendation: 4 out of 5 dentists recommend sugarless gum for their patients that chew gum? But where is the data?? Are the pores in the fabric mask small enough to stop the virus?

Until this COVID virus burns out, we will have to fight to maintain our freedoms. I don't the COVID dictators relaxing their assumed powers that easily.

I have been most surprised by English countries which I thought were just like us with inalienable rights.

Apparently not.

Then there the states and cities inside the US that seem to have lost them as well.

Jim Cramer on CNBC who is vaccinated and boosted and apparently has Covid wants unvaccinated Americans in Concentration Camps.

I’m glad Covid is showing us everyone’s true colors.

I will remember when it’s over and it will be over once we have herd immunity.

Concentration camps? I wish someone would try.

How about Jim Cramer and his gang of goofy goons go around and gather up all of the unvaccinated bad people and put them in concentration camps themselves? He's stupid and knows it will never happen. It's just something to run his mouth about and try to act like he's big chief pow wow or something. He's an idiot. All motor, no driveshaft. I meet and see some people just like him and his goonies everyday. I'm done, time to drink now so I can tell my psychiatrist how much better I look and feel after getting stuff off my chest. I will see her tomorrow. G/ night.

I'm personally less worried about Jim Cramer and the mouthpieces on CNN than some of my neighbors. I have a friend who plays with a trombone quartet of amateurs. He was hosting the group but canceled a practice session because he reported to them that he was feeling "under the weather" One of the members demanded that my friend get a Covid test before he would come back to my friend's house for the next rehearsal That guy knows that my friend refused to get the booster and told my friend that he now has "zero" protective immunity even though he got both of the Pfiser injections. My friend's response was to drop out of the group.

There are a lot of white suburban "Karens'" who are at least vocally militant and have appointed themselves "guardians of humanity" from everything from Coviid to climate change. They would happily help load people on boxcars to be taken away for not agreeing with them. I agree with one of the Fox News hosts who said that dying regimes are the most dangerous. I think the coupling of the out of control politicians and the Karens to be their eyes and ears is far more of a risk to the rest of us that anything Cramer can do on TV in 2022.
