That looks great! And obviously shoots quite well, too. I really do like that sight/rail you added. Gives some real versatility to the platform. Congrats!

It's decent - the slot is a little wider and deeper than the standard rear notch, so it helped hugely. It took 3 tries to get it centered to my satisfaction but now it's locked down.

Thank you - all of the anxiety was worthwhile in the end; I'm hugely pleased and very impressed with the US barrel.

Thanks! Now that I know it all works, next is the scope test for accuracy, suppressor and after that a proper park/paint job.

The KOP long rail arrived today, so that was mounted and the scope installed:

Nice to have a multi-functional system; I can't wait to try out the scope.

:thumbs2: Very nice! Tell us how that PA 1x6 works out for you. That's one I've been looking at.

It's a good optic; I have that on a 10.5" .300 Blk AR and I love the reticle as well as the very generous eyebox. Of course, I'm keen to see how this performs on an AK, particularly now it seems to be an accurate one

Is that a rifle grenade sight folded down over the gas block?

Yes, the Yugos have a grenade-sight on the gas-block - it also acts as a gas shut-off. Not something I'll be using, sadly ;-)
