There is a reason why proper tactical training includes checking your six before you get up from the kneeling position:

Shot his hair right off!

Seriously, things could have gone much worse - it appears there was no serious injury, for which I’m thankful. When the video began, I thought it was a guy shooting under RSO supervision. When they exchanged places and the second guy began shooting, I thought “Uh-oh, not a good idea!” Turns out I was right. Is there any explanation for this dangerous practice?

What is the point of that? Looks like a sure way to get someone killed and pretty much demonstrated same.

There is no tactical value in any of this. You would never disengage from an active threat to allow someone else to shoot. The second "follow on" officer / shooter has to come up patch to patch and earn the shot or else stay off a minimum of two large steps (6 feet or more) offline to buy reaction time.

And CSAT teaches checking six before coming up from kneeling specifically because of this.

But this is a pointless drill teach useless non-real-world tactics.

Did I hear someone cackle right at the end of the video? Surely somebody didn't think that was funny. The man was literally a hair from being killed.

Looks like a not-so-well-choreographed clown show with near fatal errors.

Probably one of those extra-tacticool things going on there, and it went pretty wrong, of course. Glad to read dude wasn't hurt too badly.

sadly I've never had any type of tactical training, but there is a lot in this video that doesn't look right. Not mentioning the bizarre tacticool two-step that they are doing. Common sense would tell me not to turn my back to the threat.

I suppose some would object if I suggested that was just before or just after they voted democrat.

Anyone ID the gun of the white guy? Could we have a glock jamming on camera?
