I was blessed in a mysterious way

So a few months ago I decided to change some guns in the safe out for some different ones. So I sold some via that broker site. I got a text tonight from a young woman that had purchased a 590 from me in one of those transactions.

She related that she happened to be up late last night when she heard noises at her front door. As it happens she has 2 other single female room mates. Being suspicious of the 2 AM noises she grabbed the 590. 2armed men kicked in her front door. The sight of her with the 590 shouldered made them rethink their plan and they ran off into the night.

God works in mysterious ways, even via an internet broker.

I am feeling so blessed and grateful to have been even an unwitting part of that.

I am glad she was able to thwart a home invasion. Having a weapon to defend herself as a result of your sale to her was serendipitous for certain. The decision to buy the 590 was a wise one, but there's another important decision needed, perhaps more so than the purchase of a firearm and that is whether you'll actually be willing to use it. Being confronted by two firearm wielding intruders and relying on them to run instead of shoot you is not what should have happened in my opinion. Action VS reaction would have most likely favored the two intruders I believe.

She doesn't get to deal with the emotional pain of having shot someone.

She doesn't get to deal with the potential legal issues of having shot someone.
