Hospital

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Post by BrassMonkey »

Hi Guys,
I am sorry for posting here. I really don't know many other spiritual people these days.

Yesterday I had a heart attack. Today I am in ICU. Monday morning, I am having quadruple bypass surgery.

Please pray for Blake. Thank you all...

WOW, Blake. I am glad you are going to be OK. My father had a quad back in '99, and is going strong today. WIth modern techniques and procedures your recovery will be rough, but well managable.

What hospital?

Of course, prayers for you.

Hang in there! Make your mind up you are going to be OK.

Last year on the way home from Conroe to Houston, my friend had chest pains and drove to the hospital instead of home. Admitted, surgery next day, bypasses - full recovery, back at work, quit smoking and healthy as can be. Lots of stories like that - lots of people had bypasses and full recovery. Just stay in the fight. All the best to you.

Thanks everyone. I am hoping for the best. I am at Plano Presbyterian. The doctors seem to be alright here.

Joe,

You are in good hands at Plano Presbyterian. I had surgery there a couple of years ago and i could not have asked for better treatment. Although you could have picked a place that was easier to spell!

Seriously, you hang in there, kiddo. I am sure Blake is very concerned about his daddy, and needs some reassurance. I hope you have someone close to stay with him. Let us know if you need anything.

If I can't do anything else, I will at least be praying for you. We know the power of prayer on this forum.
