Was in Bass Pro Shops yesterday, just killing some time. They usually have 2 or 3 whole aisles packed end to end with ammo. Yesterday they had one little portable shelf on wheels, about 4 feet long, with a few dozen boxes of shotgun ammo, and that was it. They did have a little .22 ammo, and a few boxes of 10mm.

I don't know about y'all, but I've pretty much stopped shooting altogether. My only exception in the last two months was when my daughter came home from college and wanted to try out the .380 EZ I got her.

FWIW, I always cruise by the ammo counter when I'm at Walmart.
On Saturday I scored 2 x 325 round boxes of Federal .22LR for about 5.5 cents per round, plus tax. IIRC, 17.97/box of 325.
About the lowest I've seen for .22 in a while.

They also had some 6.5 Creedmore and 30-30 on the shelf.

I made a 9a.m. Academy stop to look for ammo and what do you know...They had a small shelf full of those hard to find 9mm brass range ammo for 18.00 dollars a box with a limit of four boxes. I also picked up a Snap Safe lock box to keep my gun locked in my car for those times I need to leave it behind thinking it was 25 dollars like the sign said but when i paid for it , it was only 10 dollars. Thinking I might go back and get two more in the morning.

Found some decently priced (for these days anyway) .38 Spcl 158gr jacketed rounds. $25.50/BX of 50 New. Shipping is $14.95 flat rate for any amount of rounds at Freedom Munitions. I have shot their ammo in pistol and rifle in the past and bought it online and when they had a brick and mortar shop. Never had any issues with their new or re-manufactured ammunition. This .38 Spcl ammo is new brass cased.
