Washington, just get an out of state CHL

It's easy, 50$ and 30 minutes of your time.

But, they don't recognize a Tx license, which is odd, since ours is so much harder to get. I suspect it's because they only issue to 21 and over whereas Texas issues to anyone over 18.

Unless something has changed this isn’t correct. Only way for an 18 y/o to get an LTC in Texas is if they’ve been honorably discharged from the military.

Could be, I was in my 40's when I got mine here in Texas.

Quite correct, Texas now requires 21. Then I'm truly at a loss as to why Washington doesn't honor a Texas license.

Texas allows >18 if applicant is member of the military, veteran or honorably discharged.
I think that's the reason WA doesn't allow reciprocity, but, maybe not.... WA specifically says that they honor the SD Enhanced license, but, only for those 21+. If age was the only reason for declining TX reciprocity, they could simply have the same age restriction they have with SD...
