"They" will try to make an example out of you as a deterrent to anyone else who publicly takes a similar stand. Like the restaurant owner in Maine or the gym owner in NJ who stood up to the Covid regulations, they will attempt to use the power of the government to break you. The only solution is too many people who do the same thing. They cannot break EVERYONE or even a significant number. Onsey, Twosy, they'll pick you off like a sniper.
