Feds vs States?

#1

Post by crazy2medic »

I know States establish their own rules and governing system, the Federal Government make some rules the States have to abide by, here's my question, can the Federal Govt establish rules for National Elections that all States must abide by? Things such mail in ballots, fair and bipartisan observation of ballot counting, block ballot harvesting, basically prevent this fiasco from ever happening again

I think part or a lot of the problem right now is that some of the states aren't even following their own laws.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Several states made attempts to change things right before the election. Some states (and individual jurisdictions) are expanding on things that are allowable in specific situations (drive-in voting for those with disabilities or high risk, etc).

Now I understand the reason for COVID. It has so many people scared to go vote that it set up a huge mail in ballot system to make voter fraud easier.

Democrats latched onto Covid to scare people and to manipulate the vote from at least March till now.

The battle is uphill both ways in a snowstorm. With a weak candidate in 2016, the Progressives resorted to pollaganda, which almost worked due to the dumbed-down electorate "educated" in what to think rather than how to think. Throughout Trump's presidency a continuous propaganda siege led to an onslaught of pollaganda again as the 2020 election neared. With no effective help from his party throughout his presidency, and always resorting to inflammatory responses to his detractors, the propaganda/pollaganda siege set the stage for the Progressives to use strategies and tactics that are unconscionable and illegal to achieve their goals. Pollaganda, despite the weakness of the Progressive ticket and the apparent weakness of support for it (barely there rally attendance, little visible support in the way of signage, etc...), is the ONLY thing the Progressives could rely on to provide cover for stealing the election. The dumbed-down electorate neither knows enough, nor cares enough, to put the pieces of the puzzle together and so they'll accept the results being rammed down their throats.

The main solace I have is that God is ultimately in control. If it is the season for the Beast to grow strong it will only ultimately serve God's purposes. While I live here, I can only do my part to spread the Word and Love of God.

As I understand it our constitution puts the power to regulate the voting strictly on each state legislature. All the courts are supposed to do is decide whether or not the voting follows the legislatures rules. That is the way it was explained on the radio today. Pa supreme court decided that their court could change what the legislature intended.
