A long time ago, I used to pray that we would not have a revolution or violent change in the US but that if it was necessary, please let it happen in my time so my kids would not need to worry about it. More recently, as my youngest child is now a college senior and my oldest is in his 40s, that has changed to please let me be wrong when i say this is rapidly coming, but if I am right that we are headed to a violent breakdown, please let it happen quickly so that my grandchildren grow up free and do not have to remember it. Let me and my adult children fight this war and please help us be successful.
My hope that we can go without going to the guns diminishes further every day. I am coming to believe more strongly that this November's election will trigger it. If Biden wins, we may not have it in 2020, but I feel guaranteed we will not make it through 2024 without a violent revolution. If Biden loses, I feel confident we will not make it to January without it starting.
