The Death of Europe

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

This 47 minute video is enlightening as to what is happening to Europe. Obviously, it has implications for the U.S. Here's an interesting observation made by Mr. Murray concerning European leaders' philosophy, "We end up summing up ourselves by our collectively worst moments [in history]." He strikes me as a British William F. Buckley, Jr.

Chas.

I feel that Europe is past the point of no return.

Mellenials when they are retired will not vacation there.

I could say more, but I will stop.

I will watch.

There’s only one demographic in pretty much every European country that is reproducing at a sufficient rate to replace itself AND grow, and that is Muslim immigrants with a cultural propensity for large families. Every other demographic group, particularly the native born, are reproducing at well below the static replacement rate. In other words, Europe is committing slow suicide.

I just watched the entire 45 plus minutes of that interview. It is scary how we in America are driving down the exact same road. I kept hoping he would offer up an easy way to stop the madness.

There is no easy way because it requires constant effort and responsibility.

You might be laughing (at Europe) now, not realizing we're on the same downslope. We're trying to hold the brakes but it's too late, the train is moving. Once the brave and smart ones holding the brakes realize stopping is impossible, they will jump out to save themselves and the train will accelerate towards inevitable derailment.
We have a big advantage over Europe, our poor neighbors to the South share many of our same beliefs and ideals.

They are hard working, family oriented people and in most cases a welcome addition to the American dream.

For this and other domestic reasons; e.g., the current impeachment proceedings, I'm glad that Mrs. Oldgringo and I are approaching our 78th birthdays. I fear our once-great republic has seen her best days.

Good night and good luck.

I just finished watching the rest of the video, as I had to interrupt myself with something else yesterday. I absolutely agree with Douglas Murray's conclusions. Of course he mentions the US in passing, but while his remarks are addressed primarily at what’s happening in Europe, there is NO doubt that we’re in the same boat.

Mr. Murray talks about people needing things like courage, honesty, and thankfulness. Couldn't agree more! :cheers2:

20 or so years ago, walking around London, passed a sign on the sidewalk. One of those A-frame type signs. It was alerting of a crime that occurred on this spot. Only saw one of those signs. Joked if they setup signs back home, they would be all over the place. Curious if that is still their practice.

Not wanting to be raped by an immigrant in Europe is a radical right wing political view. This video explains the problem of young girls being radicalized in Europe.

I think this is real and not Europe’s version of Babylon Bee.

I was a bit skeptical about it being real...as in not satire or some guy sitting in his basement. But here's the website of RAN, the group that posted the video: https://ec.europa.eu/home-affairs/what- ... network_en. They are genuinely part of the "Migration and Home Affairs" department of the European Commission.
